Punjab Agricultural University

The Punjab Agricultural University or PAU was founded in 1962 in Ludhiana, Punjab. It is a state renowned agricultural university in India. It is the nation's second-most former agricultural university. At present have four constituent colleges namely College of Agriculture, College of Agricultural Engineering, College of Home science and College of Basic Sciences & Humanities. Now the University, through twenty-eight departments in the 4 constituent colleges, provides 31 Master's and thirty Ph.D programmes. The University has well set up laboratories, library and lecture rooms and elaborate farm facilities. It is well linked up near road and rail with the national capital.
