Peking University was established
on 1898, is a most famous Chinese research university settled in Beijing and a
member of the C9 League. It also provide as the most prominent administration
for education in China at the beginning of its launching. Peking University is systematically
placed as the top higher studying institution in mainland China. It is a
national fundamental university. The university consists of thirty colleges and
twelve departments, ninety-three specialties for undergraduates, two
specialties for the second Bachelor's degree, one hundred ninety-nine
specialties for Master's degree candidates and one hundred seventy-three
specialties for doctoral candidates. Now, Peking University has 216 research
institutions and research centre’s, letting in two national engineering
research centers, eighty-one key national disciplines and twelve national key
laboratories.
