National law School of India University

The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) was founded on 1987. It is an important institution for undergraduate and graduate legal education in India. NLSIU was the beginning institute in India to provide a pioneering five year intensive course in social sciences and law. NLSIU is placed as the top institution for legal studies in India. The school has an intake of approximately eighty scholars in its undergraduate law programme, forty in Masters of Law and forty in its, recently put in, Masters of Public Policy. All NLSIU admissions undergraduate (LLB) and postgraduate program (LLM) are made on the basis of performance in the CLAT.
