Nanjing University or NJU or NU
is settled in Nanjing, China, is one of the most former and most honored
institutions of higher learning in China. It has two primary campuses is
located in Gulou and Xianlin, and besides, there is Pukou campus. It was founded
as a modern school in 1902 in late Qing dynasty, and got a modern university in
the early 1920s. It is a fellow member of the C9 League and Yangtze Delta
Universities Alliance.
Currently, NJU comprises twenty-one
schools, fifty-nine departments and other academic units such as the Graduate
School, the School of Continuing Education and the School of Distant Education.
It runs seventy-eight bachelor`s programs, two hundred thirteen master`s
programs, one hundred forty-seven doctoral programs and twenty-three
post-doctoral research stations. It also provides nine professional master`s
programs, such as Master in Business Administration, MPA, Law, Clinical
Medicine, Engineering, Accounting and Fine Arts. The Engineering programs let
in twelve fields of study in Computer Science, Software, Chemistry, Geology,
Environment, Management Electronic Science, Engineering, Logistic Engineering,
Integrated Circuit Engineering, Architecture and Civil Engineering, Pharmacy
Engineering and Industry Engineering.
