Mahatma Gandhi University or M.G.U
is founded by Meghalaya State legislative Act, 2010 (Meghalaya Act No.6 of
2011), issued in the Gazette of Meghalaya vide No.LL (B).138/2010/41. Mahatma
Gandhi University is authorized to award degrees as specialized through the
University Grants Commission. M.G.U is leading to the growth of well trained
graduates, post graduates and doctorates to meet the professional manpower
needs of not just India but the world. The Encouraging body of MGU has vast
experience in the area of Education. University is setup with an aim of offering
