Kashmir University

The University of Kashmir was founded on1956, is a most famous primary university of Jammu and Kashmir. It has been re-recognized as Grade-A University through the National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) of India in the year 2011. It is settled on the western side of the Dal Lake in the city of Srinagar which consist the Indian Administered state of Jammu and Kashmir. The University is trusted to offer an intellectually stimulating environment for productive studying to enhance the educational, economic, scientific, business and cultural environment of the region. Now, there are twelve faculties, forty-seven academic departments, twenty-one centres, thirty-six colleges and six other (privately managed) accredited institutes spread all over the state.
