Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University was launched on 1986, is a public university in Patan, Gujarat. It is NACC 'A' recognized state university. The University is required to combine, more than precisely, synthesize programmes of Human Resource Development anchored on confirming attributes of inherited cultural ethos with needed specializer professional skills and competence to meet with socio-economic needs with emphasis on imbibing habits of studying to learn in the field of educational activity. The university led off to operate and serve forty-one colleges scattered over the 3 districts of Mehsana, Banaskantha and Sabarkantha.
