Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open
University was established on 1994. It
is a public institution of higher teaching in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. The
university provides thirty-eight programmes with an enrolment of more than
100,000 scholars. The university has set up its Regional Centre on the campus
of South Gujarat University. It offers variety of certificate courses, Diploma
and degree programs by distance education mode and other flexible mediums for
its scholars. The university has more than two hundred fifty study centers.
