Delhi Technological University,
Shahbad Daultapur was established at historic Kashmere Gate campus as a carry
out of the Wood and Abott Committee of 1938. In 1952 the college was associated
with University of Delhi and began formal Degree level Programmes. The
department of Architecture more previous became the School of Planning and
Architecture, today a Deemed University and Institution of National importance.
Its shifting to new campus has contributed the dimension of research and caused
designs in plenty, it has obtained high national and international acclaim. As
a Delhi Technological University it has the desired self-direction to excel and
shape itself as a world class Technological University.
