Deen bandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology at one time Chhotu Ram State College of Engineering, Murthal (CRSCE) began in 1987. It is a main government engineering college in the State of Haryana. The university has been offered with the Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme Phase – II (TEQIP Phase-II) of the World Bank Project. All the departments/centre also function Ph.D programmes which is governed through Ph.D ordinance of the university.
