NLIU Bhopal

National Law Institute University (NLIU Bhopal) is a law school and centre for research settled in Bhopal, India. Founded in 1997 by the State of Madhya Pradesh, it is one of the beginning 3 law schools to have been founded under the National Law School system. The university is a fellow member of the Association of Indian Universities and the patron of the university is the Hon. Chief Justice of India. The first programme was set up in 1998; The University has fostered and developed partnerships both at the national and international levels. The NLIU Law Follow-up is the bi-annual law journal printed by the University. The university admits one hundred undergraduates each year through the Common Law Admission Test, who complete fifteen trimesters before being awarded a combined B.A., LL.B (Hons.) degree. The post-graduate course provided at the university is the LL.M. degree.
