Bangalore University, or BU, was founded in July 1964. It is a public state university settled in city of Bangalore in the state of Karnataka, India. It provides Integrated Programmes, Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degrees apart from Diplomas and Certificates. Bangalore University has four hundred ninety-seven associated colleges. Bangalore University is the greatest university in India. The university was recognized by NAAC and received Five Star Position on 2001. There are 7 hostels on the J.B. Campus and 3 on the City campus. The Bangalore University Library has two wings and very big.
