Baba Farid University of Health Sciences is named after Baba Farid, a
twelfth-century Punjabi sufi. Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was
launched on 1998. It has about nine hundred twenty MBBS and 1,070 BDS seats
across Punjab. The mission of the University is to create an intellectual,
academic and physical environment. It committed to offering Community oriented
need based education & Training programmes for Health professionals. It has
offered various degree courses in medical fields
