HAL Koraput Engine Division is a part of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited vast network. HAL Koraput was founded on 1964 to industry R11-f2 turbo jet engine of MiG-21 FL aircraft under licence from the erstwhile USSR. It has stepped into especially investments through signing on MOU with GTRE for provider of components belonging to 3 modules (gear box, fan and turbine modules) of KAVERI engine meant for LCA. Nowadays it has behind us a rich and desirable experience of manufacture more than thousand aero-engines and overhaul of almost 45 hundred power plants.
