A Post graduated degree in Agricultural Sciences with minimum 55% of marks (annual system) or CGPA of 3 out of 4 or OGPA 8 out of 10. Or A PhD in Agricultural Sciences and A total experience of eighteen years of Teaching/Research/Extension/Administration in Universities/Colleges and other Institutions of educational activity, out of which at least eight years shall be in the cadre of Professor.
