QIP 2012

The India Government set up the Quality Improvement Programme on 1970 and it programs famous know call QIP in India, with a target of promoting the expertise and potentiality of academicians of the degree level engineering institutions in the nation. The QIP Programme is being carried out and organized by AICTE, a statutory independent body of the India Government. QIP system, just sponsored teachers are qualified for admission to either Masters or Doctoral degree programme, with the target to imbibe in them the highly developed of research and improve educational activity potentiality by exposing them to the environment and training in premier institutions of technical education. At present AICTE has extended the QIP system for polytechnic teachers for Master of Engineering or Master of Technology and Ph.D. degree programmes in all the fields of study. Program Name: – Advance admission to Doctoral Programme

Duration – 3 years

Selection Process: – Entrance Test and Interview Merit List

Scholarship – Receive a sum of Rupees 9,000/- per month as Living Expenditure allowance and a contingency grant of Rs. 10,000/- per annum for 3 years.

Admission Qualification: – QIP 2012 above PhD degree admission eligibility candidate should Master’s degree or equivalent in the appropriate branch and other qualification criteria prescribed by the individual institution with lower limit teaching experience of five years.
