GAIL full form is Gas Authority of India limited, was set up on 1984. Gas Authority of India limited was called GAIL (India) Limited on 22^nd Nov 2002. It is a one of the best & most famous India's leading Public Sector Enterprises and it is the biggest gas transmission & marketing company in the nation. It set up the pilot program for supply of piped gas to domestic & commercial users in Delhi on 1957. It has given a profit of Indian rupee 227.8 crore to the Govt. for 2000-01. The Company also realized the world’s beigest & India's 1st cross country LPG Pipeline. It always encourages the green & fresh energy concept & utilize of natural gas as energy source
