WBCS 2012 Syllabus – The Preliminary Examination will originate of only one paper, namely a paper on General Studies. General Studies paper will be of an objective type consisting of two hundred multiple-choice questions. This paper will carry two hundred marks & will be of 2½ hours duration, it paper will let in questions covering the following areas of knowledge.
