The Kalyani University, with the support of DEC, IGNOU and other Universities of West Bengal has founded Directorate of Open & Distance Learning (DODL) at postgraduate degree for the scholarly person who are otherwise stripped of higher education and as such serving as a light house of the studying persons of all ages and sex, specially to such persons who for different reasons, cannot undergo the higher courses of fields of study as regular full time students.
