IARI

The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) was founded on 1905, is India's main national Institute for agricultural research, educational activity and extension. The institute was accredited as a 'deemed university' on 1958 through an act of parliament & after then it has awarded M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees. The campus was in the first place settled in Pusa, Samastipur, Bihar and was resettled after the Bihar earthquake of 1934 to New Delhi.
