The Yale College Council was made to see that undergraduate scholars have a legitimate voice in the way Yale is governed. The Yale College Council was founded on 1972, under the leadership of establishing Chair Floyd Bradley. It allows for scholars with a chance to influence their academic and social experiences. The staying twenty-four council members are responsible for at the same time representing the needs of their own residential colleges, which they do by sitting on their residential college councils, and the undergraduate population as a whole.
