UAS Bangalore was launched through an Act (No. 22) by the then Mysore government on 1963 and it has provided courses in the field of study of Agriculture, Horticulture, Sericulture, Agricultural Biotechnology and Food Science, Agricultural Marketing & Co-operation, Forestry, Agricultural technology, knowledge is contributed in these courses by highly specified faculty who follow a structured syllabi. UAS Bangalore is settled at Bangalore which is famous known as Garden City of India and City is well linked by Air, Rail and Road transport. The University 2 campuses at Bangalore are settled on the Bangalore-Hyderabad National Highway number -seven with its Central office at Gandhi Krishi Vignana Kendra (popularly known as GKVK Campus) and Hebbal Campus.
