The Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU) is a postgraduate university in Bihar and also famous Mithila University. It was set up on 1972. The university initially began working from Sara Mohanpur village of Darbhanga–Sakri route. It more than 400 faculty of internal and outside repute are engaged in education and research. The institute is self-contained lovely with green residential campus of about 2 hundred acres with advanced facilities and support services for its scholars and faculties.
