The Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani began with a staff of one hundred officials apportioned from Punjab University, Chandigarh and carried on the beginning examination of matriculation level (10th Class) on 1970. It began carrying on the Middle examination with effect from 1976 to better educational standards at Middle level. The Board followed 12th pattern of education and carried on 12th class examination under the fresh scheme with effect from 1987. This Board has launched the semester system of education from academic year 2006-2007 and it is the 1st Board in India.
