Siberian Federal University or SibFU
was set up on 2006, is a most renowned modern multidisciplinary university. It
is settled in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. The
University holds top positions in Russian universities' rankings twelve to
fourteen ranks in the total National Rating of Universities. The University was established through
merging five major Krasnoyarsk institutions of higher education. SibFU got three
out of five stars in the QS-Stars rating of Quacquarelli Symonds Company.
The university campus in
Krasnoyarsk admits twenty-nine dormitories, twenty-four study buildings, a
building accommodating the library and the university organization offices.
SibFU offers unique chances
for both research and educational activity. The SibFU sports infrastructure lets in two sports
complexes equipped with swimming pool, three fitness centers, three stadiums
and football pitch with artificial turf, four stadiums, three ski bases, thirteen
sports halls, as well as ten sports rooms in the residence halls. Nowadays Siberian Federal
University is the biggest higher educational institution in Siberia and
consists of nineteen Institutes with more than three thousand faculty staff
teaching forty-one thousand scholars.
