Yunnan University was set up on Dec
1922, is primary campuses are settled in the provincial capital city of
Kunming. It is one of the biggest and most honored universities in China.
Currently, Yunnan University is one of the "Project 211" universities
in China authoritative through the central government to be specially
developed. Yunnan University has directly formulated into a National Key
University with a large group of academic professionals providing courses extended
by comprehensive curricula in the fields of the liberal arts, technology, law,
economics, science and management. Yunnan University has 2 key state-level disciplinary
groups under the stream construction, 16 key provincial-level fields of study, 4
doctorate degree conferring points, 1 post-doctorate-degree-related mobile
station, 48 master's degree conferring points, three specialized degree (law,
occupational education and MBA) conferring points, 1 state-level center for new
product research and development, and one key laboratory of the Ministry of
Education.
