Yanshan University or YSU was set
up on 1920, is a university settled in Qinhuangdao, Hebei, China under the
provincial government. The YSU campus covers a field of 5,000 mu (or 330
hectares) with a full construction field of nearly one million square meters. It
has offered eleven postdoctoral research stations, eleven first level fields of
study authorized to doctoral degree, twenty-seven first level fields of study
authorized to master degree, nine disciplines authorized to professional master
degree, eighteen disciplines authorized to master of engineering, sixty-two
undergraduate programs. SU has five national key fields of study, four national
defense key fields of study and sixteen provincial key fields of study and two
of its disciplines (engineering and materials) are listed in the global lead 1%
of ESI. YSU has 21 colleges and schools.
