Xinjiang Agricultural University

Xinjiang Agricultural University or XAU was set up on 1952, is a famous key institute of educational activity. It is settled in Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang, China. XAU has so soon originated into a multi-level and field of study institution that takes the undergraduate education as the basis with the organized development of doctor education, master education, higher vocational education, international education and continuing education. The campus of Xinjiang Agricultural University covers a field of 1496 acres and it is quiet, beautiful and long-familiar as a garden university since its greenery is so extensive. The school provides sixty disciplines for a Bachelor’s Degree, thirty-seven disciplines for a Master’s Degree, 6 fields of study for a Doctorate and six post–doctoral mobile stations. There are over 800 faculties and over 20,000 students at XAU. At present XAU has seventeen colleges.
