Tianjin Normal University

Tianjin Normal University or TNU was set up on 1958, as a Tianjin Teachers College. Then it is renamed Tianjin Normal University on June 1982. TNU at present has twenty-three colleges, one independent college, forty-nine research institutes, and eighty-seven specialties for undergraduates (letting in fifty-six specialties for four-year students and thirty-one for two-year scholars). The programs provided have already covered eight of the eleven academic fields of study for undergraduates. It also has an associated middle school and an associated primary school. Presently it is hosting twenty-three colleges and fifty research organizations and eighty-seven undergraduate departments. 20,540 Regular students presently study at Tianjin Normal University.
