Shanxi University was set up on
1902, is a primary public university settled in Taiyuan City, Shanxi province,
China. The university offers courses in philosophy, law, liberal arts, history,
education, science, engineering, medical science and management. There is a
high school associated with Shanxi University which runs a foreign exchange
program. It covers many fields of study and twelve academic fields, with ninety
undergrad specialties and seventeen undergraduate double-majors. There are 3
academic worksites, fourteen post-doc research sites, fifteen PhD disciplines, thirty-seven
master’s degree fields of study, and thirteen engineering master’s degree
disciplines. It also has two special PhD cross-fields of study that are not let
in the Education Ministry’s catalogue of fields of study.
