Hunan Normal University was set
up on 1938, is a higher education institution settled in Changsha, Hunan
Province, People's Republic of China. The University is a part national 211
Project university, one of the nation's hundred key universities in the twenty-first
century that enjoy priority in obtaining national funds. The university is separated
into twenty-three colleges, three teaching departments and fifty-one research
institutions. The university has provides seventy-four undergraduate programs, hundred
forty-seven master programs, and fifty-five Ph.D. programs. There are ten
postdoctoral scientific research stations, thirteen State Training and Research
Bases or Centers and seven key laboratories, jointly built by the Ministry of
Education and Hunan Province, on the campus.
