Guizhou University

Guizhou University was set up on 1902, is a public coeducational university. The university is one of the part key 211 Project universities on mainland China. It is settled in the suburban outskirts of Guiyang, the capital city of Guizhou Province, China. The University has twenty-four colleges and provides programs of study in eleven academic sections leading to associate, baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral degrees. It is also one of the biggest universities in the Southwest of China catering to over 30 thousand scholars. It university offered 137 undergraduate specialties, covering eleven branches of learning such as philosophy, arts, history, economics, laws, engineering, liberal science, agriculture and administration. GZU provides eight First-level and thirty-six Second-level Disciplines for PhD granting, forty-six First-level and 201 Second-level Fields of study for Master's Degree Granting and ten Master's programs for specialized subjects.
