Fujian University of Traditional
Chinese Medicine or FUTCM was set up on 1958, is settled in Fuzhou, Fujian,
China. There are 2 campuses in the university with Pingshan campus in the city
proper and Qishan campus in the suburb Minhou, extending an area of about seventy
hectares in total. FJUTCM got “A” level in the undergrad education evaluation guided
by Ministry of Education both in 2002 and 2007. It has eight national top-level
laboratories and two provincial key laboratories. The number of staff of the
university is more than 25 hundred, among which more than five hundred are
professional and technical personnel with senior titles. FJUTCM consists of thirteen
colleges (departments) and two research institutes, with two specialties (TCM
Orthopedics and Traumatology, Clinical Integrative Medicine) for Doctoral
candidates, eighteen specialties for Master candidates, and thirty-three
specialties for undergraduates.
