Chengdu University of Information Technology or CUIT
was set up on 1951 in southwest China. It is the only famous university independently
specifying in information technology. Now, there are three
subjects accorded national key subject status, one subject accorded national
key subject status (fostering), and fifteen subjects accorded key subjects condition
of Sichuan Province. The university has offered seventy-seven undergraduate
majors, one hundred seventeen master’s programs, letting in twenty-three
professional master programs, and thirty-six doctoral programs and runs two
post-doctoral research stations. The majors and programs cover ten disciplinary
categories, excluding medical science and military science. Currently comprises sixteen colleges, seventy-one departments,
forty-two research institutes. CUIT has founded collaboration partnership with
over sixty universities and scientific institutes.
