Jai Prakash University

Jai Prakash University or JPV was founded on 1990 and it is a public university in Chhapra, Bihar, India. The university was called in memory of freedom fighter Loknayak Jai Prakash Narayan. The university is accepted by the UGC as a state university and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities. There are totally twenty-one constitute Colleges, eleven affiliated colleges in which two are deficit Grant Colleges (letting in one minority college). There are some nominated Colleges of which a few are professional colleges. It offered undergraduate, post graduated and PhD degree various fields.
