Gautam Buddha University or GBU was launched on 2002 is a Research University settled in Greater Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar zone Uttar Pradesh, India. It is spread over 511 acres in Greater Noida and provides Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Applications, Biotechnology and Buddhist Studies and is primarily focused on research. It is 1st academic session in 2008. It accepted through the University Grants Commission (UGC). The school provides academic programmes at post-graduate and research degree letting in M.A., M.Phil. and Ph.D. It gives knowledge of Buddhist History, Sanskrit, Chinese, Burmese, Philosophy, and Literature in Pali, Sinhalese and Tibetan languages and their literature.
