Faculty of Law DU Delhi was founded in 1924. Prof
Ashwani Kumar Bansal, the present Dean has been a scholar of this Faculty from
1971 and joined as a faculty member in 1978. He specializes in contemporary
areas of Multinational Corporations, Intellectual Property and Cyber laws
and legislative interventions. Faculty
of Law DU Delhi offered LL.B and LL.M dgree course . LL.B degree duation of six
semester and LL.M degree duation six semester. The LL.B degree qualification criteria for General,
Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) candidates is as given in the
Ordinance.
For
General and OBC candidates, Graduate/Post-Graduate Degree from the University
of Delhi or any other Indian or Foreign University accepted as equivalent by
the University of Delhi with at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade point in
the aggregate in either of them. However, the cut off marks for admission of
OBC candidates shall be upto 10% less than the marks notified for general
candidates in the Entrance Test. Relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum
qualification prescribed for general candidates will be allowed to OBC
category. Relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum qualification prescribed for
general candidates will be allowed to widows/wards of defence personnel (CW)
category. Relaxation of up to 5% marks
in the minimum qualification prescribed for general candidates will be allowed
to the candidates belonging physically handicapped (PH) category on the
recommendations of the Medical Board as per the prescribed procedure.
