Zhejiang Gongshang University was set up on 1911, is a public teaching institution focuses on the areas of business and technology. It was based as Hangzhou Vocational Business School (The Most former Chinese Business School). The school became a public university Sanctioned through National Ministry of Education, Hangzhou Institute of Commerce in 1980. It was nominated as Zhejiang Gongshang University in 2004.
